During the annual Nonprofit NoVA Advocacy Day in Richmond, “we were able to meet individually with many of our local Delegates or their staff to learn first hand about budget challenges all of us are facing this year. In fact, those conversations influenced our collective message. We earned credibility and gained their respect. This trip is an amazing learning experience.”
By joining with other nonprofits in the community to collectively advocate for those in need, Just Neighbors has been able to increase its visibility and that of the sector as a whole. On a more personal level, Nonprofit NoVA has afforded me the opportunity to connect with and learn from outstanding leaders throughout Northern Virginia’s nonprofit community.
