Joining Nonprofit NoVA:

Nonprofit NoVA is an alliance of nonprofit leaders working together to build the strength, visibility and influence of the nonprofit community in Northern Virginia. We achieve our mission through:

  • Communications – our bi-weekly email, News from Nonprofit NoVA provides up-to-date information about the sector and shares valuable opportunities with nonprofits leaders and staff.

  • Collective voice – Nonprofit NoVA understands the true value of working together.  By strengthening our collective voice we can all benefit.  We engage in advocacy through our annual Advocacy Day trip to Richmond and in partnership with the Nonprofit Roundtable of Greater Washington.   In 2010, our collective voice was able to preserve local government funding for nonprofits in each Northern Virginia jurisdiction.

  • Convenings – Nonprofit NoVA holds quarterly membership meetings and occasional targeted trainings.  Membership meetings include valuable time for networking and establishing peer connections before engaging our leaders on issues that impact all nonprofits in our region.

Affiliation:   Nonprofit NoVA is an affiliate of the Nonprofit Roundtable of Greater Washington. Currently, the Roundtable is offering a passport membership meaning that if an organization joins the Roundtable, they become a member of Nonprofit NoVA for free!  For more info, This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
