to create a more just and caring community
in the Northern Virginia region.
Goals of Nonprofit NoVA:
* Serve as the hub, convener and voice of the nonprofit community in Northern Virginia
* Convene leaders to solve regional problems - nonprofit leaders, corporate leaders, philanthropists, local government leaders, community leaders
* Promote the value of nonprofit organizations and the expertise of nonprofit leaders throughout Northern Virginia
* Develop and support nonprofit leaders in Northern Virginia
* Provide a support group for peers and develop a strong sense of community within the nonprofit community
* Create a network of referrals to share commonalities and best practices
* Provide training, leadership development, and support to nonprofits in Northern Virginia
* Create programmatic priorities to meet the issues and challenges of nonprofits in Northern Virginia and, through broader outreach, develop effective tools and advocacy platforms to positively affect those issues and challenges
(Nonprofit NoVA is an affiliate of the Nonprofit Roundtable of Greater Washington)
